The ceremony will start at 2 p.m. 

The bridal party will be wearing black tie.  We would love for others to join us, but do not feel under pressure to do so.  What is most important is that you come as you feel comfortable!  

We will have a glass of fizz immediately following the ceremony at the Cathedral.  When we leave, please throw confetti over us (not champagne...)!

A bus will be available to take you from the Cathedral to Finnebrogue Woods (which is about 2.5 miles from the Cathedral).  Please let us know when you R.S.V.P. if you would like a space on the bus.

Parking

There is fairly limited parking available at the Cathedral and on English Street (the road leading to the Cathedral).  There is a car park on Bridge Street (free) and Irish Street (paid).  

There is parking available at Finnebrogue Woods.

Lunch

Denvir's bar is located a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral.  Other food options in Downpatrick are the Daily Grind, Oakley Fayre Bakery, the St. Patrick's Centre, and Fodder (about 2.5 miles from Downpatrick). Further afield there is Picnic in Killyleagh and Olive Bazaar in Newcastle, in case you are heading to those areas to see the sites!

Please don't hesitate to ask us if you need any recommendations for lunch before the ceremony close to where you are staying.

Champagne, Guinness and oysters will be served from 4 p.m.

Dinner will be served inside the tipis followed by (lots of) dancing outside (weather permitting), until 1 a.m.

Bus

A bus will be available between approximately 11.30 p.m. until 1.30 a.m. to do shuttle runs from Finnebrogue back into Downpatrick to drop off anyone staying at Denvir’s and the Mill Hotel (Lakehouse, Granary & Ballydugan Cottages). Please let us know if you would like a space on the bus!
