-All rates include double occupancy on bed & breakfast

-Kid's policy: Children under 5 years of age stay for free. Children from 6-14 years of age receive 50% off adult rate when sharing superior room or suite

Flying into Nairobi

• Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), located in the capital city of Nairobi, is the country’s largest airport and will offer the most international flight options.
• Once travel is booked into Nairobi, domestic flights will be needed with possible destinations of either Moi International Airport, in Mombasa, or Ukunda Airstrip, in Diani Beach.

• Travel to Ukunda Airstrip in Diani Beach is closer to the wedding venue/hotel, however, due to the limited airport size and number of flights, this option may be less economical than travel to Mombasa.

•Tanya and Jinal’s families have booked the following travel:

Arrive in Nairobi Wednesday, November 20th

Take Jambo Jet 11am flight NBO (Nairobi) to Ukunda on Thursday, November 21st

Take free hotel shuttle to Swahili Beach Resort

Note: Our personal opinion is that the least hassle would be to fly into NBO, take a domestic flight to Ukunda Airport (Diani Beach), and then take the free shuttle to the hotel. However, please use your best judgement and do whatever is best for yourselves economically and based on your preference :)


Flying into Mombasa:

• International travel can be booked directly to Moi International Airport in Mombasa. Although this option may be less economical/ flexible than travel to Nairobi, no further domestic tickets will be required.

• Ferry transfer between Mombasa and Diani will be needed and can have a wait up to 2 hours to cross the river.

Rates for airport transfer each way in a 7 seater van provided by the hotel are:

Ukunda Airstrip: FREE

Mombasa Moi International: 6,500 KSH

Please arrange transfer with the hotel prior to travel.

Note that 90 day single entry visas can be obtained at your arrival airport for a cost of $50. Please have this IN CASH and note that getting change for large notes may not be very easy.

In particular please note CATEGORY 1 country passport holders (including Botswana) do not require a Visa to enter Kenya. Also note CATEGORY 3 country passport holders will have to obtain a Visa in advance from the Kenyan Embassy. All other passport holders may obtain a Visa on arrival.
