About DeBordieu

DeBordieu Beach (pr. deb-ee-doo, or just "the doo") is a golf and beach community just north of Georgetown and south of Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

Nestled between wildlife reserves, the area is naturally beautiful and teeming with life. An evening on your porch at DeBordieu can feel like an evening in Jurassic Park--with gators battling it out with pterodactyls (a.k.a. huge blue herons) to eat the most of the jumping fish.

Inside the Gates: The Beach Club Lounge & Restaurant. These are both sit-down and have dress code restrictions noted on the website.

Outside the Gates: Chive Blossom Cafe, Frank's, Rollin Local, Root, Bisqit, Bistro 217. We recommend making reservations in advance.

The Beach

The top attraction... if you're not beachfront, you can park your car or your golf cart at the beach club for central beach access. 

Golf

Tee Times for the DeBordieu golf course can be had by calling the club house or on the web. There are also tons of other golfing options from the upscale designer to the cheap and casual. 

Fitness

You can visit the DeBordieu Fitness and Tennis Center and work out or play tennis for a reasonable fee. 

Biking and Wildlife

Beware, there be 'gators. The wildlife in and around DeBordieu is exceptional and diverse. There are walking, biking, and running paths all throughout the island.
