Amita Vincent
Maid of Honor

What to say about a friendship that goes back to before I was born when she asked Santa Claus for a “bundel of joy?” I am so grateful to have an older sister like Amita. No matter what zip code we have found ourselves in, she has always been there for me when I’ve needed her. She’s looked over my homework, taught me about make-up, lent me her clothes (& certainly borrowed in return), and basically has been my Yoda. Joking, I’m not. Whether it’s our plans for Restaurant Week, discussing the latest episode of Outlander or just watching Millie get into some mischief, we always have a good time. She is the most incredible aunt and about to be an even more amazing mother! Who would I be without her as my friend and role model? After 28 years, I’ve almost forgiven her for asking Santa to take me back.

Disha Ankola
Bridesmaid
DEESH! My token Indian medical school bestie! How could I have gotten through those 4 miserable years without her? Disha has the brilliant skill of calming me when I am stressed or anxious. She’s always smiles and giggles! Though our hangouts have transitioned from big nights out/gossiping between classes to wine nights/dinners due to our busy schedules, we always make time for each other! She’s the only person I’ll ever let call me J. Can’t wait to celebrate our weddings this year!

Brinda Bhatt
Bridesmaid

My favorite older cousin <3! Growing up, I always admired Brinda for her dedication to her family and to her studies. Visits with Brinda have always included fancy food (mostly at home as her mom is an amazing cook), exploring unforgettable museums and sites, and trips down memory lane! We’ve been though good and bad times but always together. Over the years, Brinda has become less like a cousin and more like a sister. Can’t wait to catch up with her at the wedding festivities!

Priyal Parikh
Bridesmaid
Our friendship spans many years, beginning [probably] at her baby shower in 1993. Growing up, we were inseparable. She has always been my best pal, the Jasmine to my Snow White. She makes me laugh like no one else can with inside jokes spanning more than 20 years. I can't even begin to name all of the things we've been through together, from birthday parties to snow days, Fogana competitions to Kathak practices. She was even there for my first ever shot of tequila (yuck!). No matter how much time we have spent apart, we always come back to each other with the same childhood enthusiasm. Couldn't imagine not having this goofball by my side.

Mansi Bhatt
Bridesmaid
My favorite (and only) younger cousin! My oldest memories of Mansi go back to our times in Nagpur, India. What an adorable little munchkin she was! Though that was years ago and we didn’t spend much time together, I sure remember playing games and watching cartoons. Now, as adults, I look forward to every Instagram post and Whatsapp message! She’s become less my younger cousin and more my close friend. Make sure to bring me Timbits for the wedding, eh?
Shreya Kanabar
Bridesmaid
I’ve known Shreya for as long as I can remember, all the way back to when I was a super fat baby (and twice Priyal’s size; if you’re curious, make sure to ask Shreya for the photo)! I’ve always admired Shreya for her intelligence, dedication, and ability to make people laugh! Although she’s a brilliant pediatrician these days, I can’t help but picture her as that adorable teenager that hit Payal’s car on Amita’s prom night. I don’t think she’ll ever live that one down! She’s been there for every milestone. Can’t wait to celebrate this one with her too!

Rabia Jawed
Bridesmaid
A friendship that began as medical students, now spanning to the completion of residency. Rabia has been there as a good friend and support system for all the good and the bad these last few years: difficult exams we didn’t think we’d pass, anticipating the match into a competitive residency and transitioning to demands as an Internal medicine resident. As we move beyond Franciscan Health this upcoming year, I can’t imagine a better friend to have by my side to share stories over too much wine.

Payal Parikh
Bridesmaid
One of my oldest friends and birthday twin! Payal has been like another sister to me. My favorite (and probably most embarrassing) memory of Payal growing up was our trip to Florida for her 21st birthday when she volunteered to have hydrogen peroxide dripped into her eye. Feel free to ask her more details on that story :) ! That is probably one of her few moments of poor judgement. She is the most incredible mother to baby Nora and has been the Yoda of mom advice to me as I navigate this new chapter of motherhood. I couldn't ask for a better role model and constant in my life.
Megha Garg
Bridesmaid

Our first days go back to the hallowed halls of Saint Louis University. Though we initially met as freshmen and floormates at Reinert Hall, our relationship had a rocky start. We only realized we were bff's as seniors in college. A couple of science classes, Mardi Gras parades, cheesy Indian Student Association parties, and heart-to-hearts over cheap wine later, we were inseparable. Though we've grown older and don't have the stomach for midnight trips to Taco Bell anymore, our friendship has stayed stronger than ever. Love ya Megha booty!

Bridget Haley
When Bridget and I met in medical school, it was an instant friendship. After all, I needed someone easygoing to balance out my bucket of nerves. She gained the nickname Beer from years of diversifying my palate for it. I have you (and Matt) to blame for my beer belly. Bridget was the friend that taught me that it was okay to have a good time and not take everything so seriously in med school. We went on several trips together, had many girls night outs and studied far too little but wouldn’t go back and change a thing!

Cameron Weyenberg
Best Little Man
This guy wasn't invited to our first wedding but he's earned his spot at this one. Bet the bridesmaids will love him!
Josh Weyenberg
Best Man

We've known each other for almost 28 years! Josh lives where we grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin and works in the Information Technology field. He obviously has a love for computers and is always the go to guy when your technology just isn't working quite right. He also has a passion for photography, and sacrificed himself to the cold to hide and take pictures of Jenny and me the night I asked Jenny to marry me. We have common ground in communicating in movie quotes and obscure references, and will go for weeks communicating only in memes and video clips.

Mike Abadier
Groomsman

Mike and I met in medical school. We were roommates and remained that way throughout the entirety of our schooling. Our training took us to opposite sides of the country but we remain close and keep each other up to date with the happenings of our lives. Mike will be moving to Colorado to further specialize in Pulmonology and Critical Care.

Luke Buxton
Groomsman

Luke and I met in residency and an immediate friendship was formed. If you are looking to throw a themed party he is the man to call. Luke will be leaving Illinois and moving back to California to pursue further specialization in Pulmonology and Critical Care

Ryan Paulson
Groomsman

Ryan and I met in college and have been present for nearly every major event in each other's lives. We both had the bright idea to pursue a career in medicine for some reason, and Ryan's training took him to South Carolina and then Texas where he has a Family Medicine practice. I was the best man in his wedding and we talk nearly every day, although we mostly just complain about the inconveniences of our days or send each other memes. Regardless, the day couldn't happen without him.

Mike Fremgan
Groomsman

I was initially introduced to Mike when he was a 5th year surgical resident and I was a medicine intern rotating through his service. Pretty sure he had no idea who I was until he started dating one of my seniors. We soon became fast friends with like interests and a tendency to end up at dive bars on work nights.

Wills Register
Groomsman

Wills and I met in residency and have spent many a night getting food and drinks in the city. Wills is the guy you consult for recommendations on food and drinks. He's also the person you consult in the hospital when things go south as he specializes in Critical Care. Never a dull night in his company.

Adam Schweitzer
Groomsman

Adam and I met first in middle school and remained friends through high school. We also went to college together and lived with each other for a few years. As you could imagine Adam and I have shared a few life experiences together: I was there when he met the woman who would become his wife and subsequently stood up in their wedding. Adam is a police officer in West Allis, Wisconsin and I wouldn't trust anyone else to keep us safe.

Ben Van Sistine
Groomsman

Ben and I first met in high school and have continued to be close ever since. Ben has helped me move more times than I can count because that's just the type of person he is. If there's a project you need to get done he is the person to call. Ben works in the event industry and is one of the most creative and imaginative people I know.

Douglas Vincent
Groomsman

Doug is the husband of my wife's sister. When I met Doug I knew immediately that I hit the jackpot when it comes to brother in laws. We found quick common ground on drinks, golf and the love of around the house projects. Give us a beer and some power tools and we can accomplish anything

Ben Wells
Groomsman and Officiant

Ben and I first met in middle school but didn't really start to hang out until high school. Since then we have remained close and have involved each other in any life events. Ben has an interest in politics which is the field he currently works in.
