This airport is recommended as it seems to be the only airport that has direct flights from the tri-state area.

Option 1: Take a train that leaves from the FCO airport directly to Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence (appx. 2 hours & 15 mins). This train only runs once or twice a day!
Option 2: Take a train that leaves from the FCO airport to the main train station in Rome, Roma Termini (appx. 30 mins). From here, take one more train from Roma Termini to Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence (appx. 1 hour & 30 mins).
The Santa Maria Novella train station is within walking distance to most of the hotels that we posted on our website.
