We first met in 2009 while working part-time at Hollister in Southampton. We spoke a couple of times during shifts, but love wasn't in the air until we met again a few years later...
After a chance meeting on a night out, we discovered that we had both recently moved to Guildford. We exchanged messages on Facebook for a couple of weeks before deciding to meet up for a drink, which turned into dinner, and the rest is history! We hit it off instantly and enjoyed exploring our new home town together.
A couple of years later, after going back and forth between each other's rented houses, we decided to move in together. With Jen doing all the cooking and Henry doing all the cleaning it was a match made in heaven! Fast-forward a few more years to 2017 and we bought our first house together.
On a sunny morning in September 2018 we went out for a walk in the beautiful Surrey Hills. After finding the perfect spot, Henry got down on one knee and popped the question. It was a complete surprise and after 15 minutes of hysterical laughter, crying and asking 'is this real life?', Jen eventually said yes. We couldn't wait to start planning our wedding and spend the rest of our lives together.
