Big Sister
Being that she is my big sister I have known Jasmine my entire life. I cannot think of one important memory in my life that she has not been apart of. Jasmine is the advice giver, the trash talker, the leader, everything all in one. She truly knows me better than anyone else. A very driven and loving person. I know that she will always have my back and be by my side through the good and the bad.
Southern Belle
I have had the pleasure of knowing Ashley for over 7 years. We struggled though the long hours of Duke nursing together. Ashley is a very loving and nurturing person. She has brought many days of joy and laughter into my life.
Miss Tiny and Mighty
I have known Danielle for 7 years. We met as nurses at Duke hospital. I remember complaining about completing a task for a patient, and Danielle voluntarily stepping in, taking care of it and moving on. That describes her completely. Danielle is hard working, strong and kind. You won’t here her complain and she does it with a smile. I can always look to her for words of wisdom and encouragement.
Roomie and Confidante
Erica was my randomly assigned roommate freshmen year of college and we quickly became very close friends. She and I fought our way through FAMU’s nursing program together. We spent many nights up studying and bonding. Erica has always been very supportive and has helped me through many challenges in my life. She is assertive, loving, and a great spiritual influence in my life. Don’t be surprised if she is the party starter and turn-up queen at the reception.
Big Cousin
Erikka was always my cool cousin growing up. Beautiful and and talented we spent a lot of our youth together in the country of Merritt Island and Miami. Erikka is full of life, energy, and will definitely out dance the best of us. She is smart and charismatic, my birthday buddy, we bond over our air head moments. Erikka is definitely a big part of my life and I can't wait to celebrate together.
Bestie
Masha and I have been friends for over 12 years, we met through our community service organization SISTUHS in college. She has been a rock in my life though the ups and downs. We have cried together and celebrated together. Masha is my loving, spirited sister who has my back no matter what. I couldn’t imagine celebrating my special day without her by my side.
Twin
Nikki is just an all around joy. The most bubbly and pleasant person. Nikki and I met at Duke as nurses and quickly became close friends. We bonded over frozen yogurt, mini shopping sprees, and mani-pedi dates. We have such similar views on life and love. My unofficial twin and a true blessing in my life.
