We are not asking for gifts or creating a traditional registry, because your presence at our wedding is more than we could ever ask for.
We know that attending a wedding can be financially burdening, and we don't want to add to the burden by adding another expense. That's why we've opted to try and make things as easy on everyone as possible by providing meals, accomodations where possible, and on-site activities and fun. And the reality is that we are very lucky to already own a house and all of the things we need in it to make it our home.
Nonetheless, some family and friends have insisted that they would still like to provide a gift in some form, so if that applies to you, we would be beyond ecstatic if you would give us the gift of more travel and adventure.
We've set up a "honeymoon fund" that will help make our next adventure a reality. Several guests have also asked about helping with the overall weekend, which is absolutely not necessary because doing this is our pleasure, but appreciated nonetheless if you feel strongly about it.
