While there are some hotels and resorts in Blairsville and the surrounding areas, we would highly recommend staying at a cabin or cottage if you're staying offsite for the weekend. Cabins and cottages in this area generally rent for approximately the same amount as a hotel room, except that you get the comforts and rustic charm that come with having a forest cabin or cottage all to yourself.

When it comes to renting a property like a cabin or cottage, we always prefer VRBO, which substantially predates Airbnb (Gina and her family have been using VRBO to rent cabins in this area since she was 12!).

VRBO has great filtering options, so that you can find the perfect cabin or cottage. You can filter by number of guests, price range, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and even a ton of amenities, like having it be by water, include a mountain view or feature a private hot tub.

If you do plan on booking a cabin or cottage, we would highly suggest you book one soon. Blairsville and the surrounding towns are small, so there are limited cabins and cottages available for rent. Moreover, June is a really popular time of the year for visitors.

Airbnb is another great website you can use when booking a cabin or cottage for the weekend. Similar to VRBO, you can use Airbnb to find a cabin or cottage that fits all of your needs with prices that rival those of nearby hotels.

Located just 6 minutes up the road, 2's Company Farm Creek Cabins provide the closest offsite lodging option. The cabins - 4 total - are more like cottages and are located in fairly close proximity to one another. They are comfortable and very nicely decorated. They also each rent for less than $100 per night.

Paradise Hills, Winery Resort & Spa is located just 10 minutes up the road from Sugarboo Farms and has a total of 17 cabins available for rent. The cabins are all very reasonably priced and offer some nice amenities.

Enchanted Mountain Retreats (EMR) is a vacation rentals and property management company that  offers  cabin rentals in the mountains of Blairsville, Blue Ridge, and Hiawassee, GA. In Blairsville, EMR offers charming cabins ranging in size from 2 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms.

For our loved ones that enjoy the "finer things in life," we have just the cabins for you. Above The Rest Luxury Cabins offer over 30 luxury cabin rentals throughout the northern mountain area of Georgia. Their team is very helpful and can help you find a cabin that fits your needs and is still close to Sugarboo Farms. But don't be too intimidated by the "luxury" label, the cabins are still very reasonable in price, especially since the weekend we'll be there falls within "Off Season" pricing. 

Located 15 minutes up the road from Sugarboo Farms, Sunrise Mountainside Cottage and Sunrise Riverside Cabins offer the comforts of home and the charm of mountain living. Just a few miles south of Blairsville and three miles north of Vogel State Park, the Sunrise properties are located in one of the most scenic spots in Georgia. The cabins are fairly rustic and simple, but they truly are located in picturesque spots with 3 of the 4 properties renting for less than $100 per night.

Trackrock Campground & Cabins have been around forever and offer cabins, camping, and horseback riding, as well as all of the other fun activities that mountain campgrounds usually offer, like fishing, swimming, daily events and activities, hayrides, playground and potluck suppers. Gina visited Trackrock for the first time when she was 12 to go horseback riding with her family. Trackrock has several cabins available for rent, as well as camping if that is your thing. We'll be honest, the cabins are a bit overpriced given that they are very simple in setup and decor. The tradeoff, however, is that the property itself has tons of fun activities for little ones.

Misty Mountain Inn & Cottages have been providing family-friendly lodging in Blairsville Georgia for the past 30 years. They offer eight (8) comfortable cabins and cottages in peaceful settings filled with forest greenery. 

The Cabins at Highland Falls offer Blairsville cabin rentals nestled within the mountain ridges of the north Georgia mountains on a 33-acre site, which backs up to the national forest. The cabins are scattered along Coosa Creek and along the mountain ridges. The cabins all offer porches  to enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery with your morning coffee, all at reasonable prices. 

Located 10 minutes up the road in downtown Blairsville, the Best Western Milton Inn offers a convenient location and great overall value, including complimentary breakfast each morning.

Located on the historic Square in Downtown Blairsville, the Seasons Inn Motel and Plaza offers everything you need for an enjoyable stay in the area at the most affordable rate. The rooms are modest and clean and range between $65-$70 per night.  Georgia Mountains.  Seasons Inn is centrally located and within easy walking distance to all of downtown Blairsville's restaurants, coffee shops, clothing boutiques, and antique shops.
