Our love story began in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego, CA. I (Savannah) moved there after college in October 2018. Bill made the move from Pittsburgh shortly after in May 2019. Our love story began in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego, CA. I (Savannah) moved there after college in October 2018. Bill made the move from Pittsburgh shortly after in May 2019. We both lived with close friends (shout out Kim and Kev!) and were enjoying living by the beach & partaking in the PB social scene. Fast forward to February 2020, we both joined the dating app Hinge, in hopes to meet new people and begin dating. After some messaging back and forth, Bill took me on our first date to a local spot called Amplified where we talked for hours, laughing and non-stop smiling.
After 3 dates together, Bill headed home to Pittsburgh for a friend’s wedding. Little did we know that the world would shut down that week. Shortly after, I went home to Scottsdale, AZ to be with my family. Even though we were 2,000 miles away for the next 3 months, Bill kept the romance alive by texting me every. single. day.
When we returned to San Diego, we were both eager to see each other again. After that point, we were together every week. There was one particular date night where Bill took me to dinner and drinks in Little Italy. I fell in love with him that night.
I (Bill) had always been nervous to bring a girl around my family and friends. I knew Savannah was the one for me when I didn’t even think twice about it.
Since then, we have been inseparable. After many trips to Pittsburgh, Arizona, Dana Point, New York, Florida, Mexico, Turkey and more, our life together continues to get better. We are beyond ecstatic to enter this next chapter in our love story and start a family of our own.
We are so blessed to have such loving families and so many wonderful, supportive friends. You all mean the world to us and we are honored that you’d spend our special day by our sides. We cannot WAIT to celebrate with you!
