Honolulu International Airport

The airport on Oahu is HNL - Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, and its just a few minutes from downtown Honolulu (where most people will be staying if they decide to come out during the week prior to the wedding weekend!).

WEST COASTERS

West Coasters should easily be able to find direct flights to Honolulu from the following airports and airlines:

• Los Angeles – LAX – Alaska, American, Delta, Hawaiian, United
• Long Beach – LGB – Hawaiian, Southwest
• Portland – PDX –Alaska, Hawaiian
• Sacramento – SMF – Hawaiian, Southwest
• San Diego – SAN – Alaska, Hawaiian, Southwest
• San Francisco – SFO – Alaska, Hawaiian, United
• Seattle – SEA – Alaska, Delta, Hawaiian
• Washington, Virginia – IAD – United

EAST COASTERS

There are several direct flights from East Coast to Honolulu. Here are some options:

• Atlanta, Georgia – ATL – Delta
• Baltimore, Maryland - BWI - Alaskan
• Chicago, Illinois – ORD – American, United
• New York, New York – JFK – Delta, Hawaiian
• Newark, New Jersey – EWR – United
• Washington, Virginia – IAD – United

Philadelphia does not have direct flights to Honolulu, but many with just 1 layover. To cut the trip in half, we recommend a night in Los Angeles or San Francisco. If you just want to make the trip in just one shot, we recommend a layover close to home to get it over with so you can relax and sleep on the longer flight to Hawaii. Newark, NYC, Baltimore and DC are all great layover options!

Getting Around on the Island

You can easily get around Waikiki/Honolulu by Uber/Lyft, walking, bike, scooter, rollerblades, whatever mode of transportation you prefer.

However, the North Shore is more secluded and we would recommend renting a car at one of the car rental agencies at the Honolulu airport. If you would like to carpool, please let us know, and we can help organize that!

Below are just a few of the websites, but we love Costco car rentals (if you are a member) or just good old Google to find the best rates! Please click on links below for more information!*

*Due to the pandemic, prices for car rentals are especially high. They may start to go down as October approaches (or so we've been told!), but just in case here's a third car rental option:
