FAQs
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
Unless children are specified in your RSVP portal, this weekend is for adults only. Kick back, relax, and take in all the celebrations!
WILL I BE ALLOWED A PLUS 1?
The number of guests in your party will be outlined by your invitation and in the RSVP portal.
IS IT OKAY TO TAKE PICTURES DURING YOUR EVENTS?
Friday – Yes! We’d love for you to join in on the fun and send us any and all pictures you took after the event!
Saturday – We request that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so that our incredible photography and videography teams can capture the moments. We will absolutely share all these photos with you once we get them back. During the cocktail hour and reception, please take as many photos and videos as your heart desires! We can’t wait to see the event through your eyes!
WHAT ATTIRE IS APPROPRIATE FOR EACH EVENT?
We would love for you to join in on the festivities and dress the part! Indian clothes are so beautiful, colorful, and there are a vast variety of designs and styles. Below we’ve listed some sites to buy from but feel free to venture beyond that. Please note that custom sizing clothing as well as shipping times can add to the estimated delivery date; you might even need to get things altered once they get to you. If you need any help, you’re welcome to reach out to us or any Auntie/Uncle who’ll be beyond happy to help.
• Friday’s Sangeet- Indian Festive Attire
Feel free to try a unique or modern style with fun colors or a funky pattern!
• Saturday’s Wedding Ceremony- Traditional Indian Attire
We ask that you opt for a more traditional style for this event.
• Saturday’s Reception- Black Tie Optional
Men are requested to wear a tuxedo, but can opt for a dark suit. Women can choose either a formal evening gown, a cocktail dress, or dressy separates.

If you choose not to wear Indian clothes, the event is formal attire.
AM I ALLOWED TO WEAR ANY COLOR FOR THE EVENTS?
If possible, we’d like to ask our guests to refrain from wearing black to the wedding ceremony. Additionally, please refrain from wearing green to the reception.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN DFW IN LATE MAY?
While it’s best to check weather leading up to the trip, you can expect daily high temperatures between 80°F and 90°F. Please note that the weather in Texas can be unpredictable. All events are within the hotel and will not require you to go out and brave the elements. Additionally, feel free to pack a bathing suit as the hotel has a beautiful pool and so long as you are staying with them, you’re free to access it!
WHAT’S THE PARKING SITUATION?
While this weekend doesn’t require you to leave the hotel site, if you do choose to rent a car, there is both self-parking and valet. Let them know your room number and that you're there for our wedding events to receive a discounted rate.
Should I bring anything specific?
YES! But this pertains to anyone who finds themselves a bit itchy during the allergy season. As a Texas native, the bride HIGHLY suggests to bring Zyrtec, Allegra, Claritin, etc. as the pollen count this year is fairly high. Even though the events are indoors, allergies strike at any time.
