Visions of this event have swirled in my head since I was a little girl. I am most excited to see all of my cousins and their kids meet and get to know each other at this event!

Description

Located just moments from the Sheraton Grand Seattle Hotel, the Bell Harbor patio will host a scenic and memorable pithi ceremony. Afterwards, get ready for an epic Bollywood dance showdown between the two sides!

Dress Code

Dress code: Semi-formal Indian

Please note the majority of this event will take place outdoors. We recommend wearing lighter fabrics. You may also consider a light jacket or shawl as Seattle waterfront evenings can be breezy.

Shoes: We'd recommend ditching the stilettos for this event. Chunky heels or wedges are more suitable for this venue due to the floors.

The pithi ceremonies will begin promptly at 6PM. The event will then transition into the Sangeet.

Description

Approximately 30 minutes from the hotel, the Nikkah venue is situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Newcastle. In accordance with Islamic customs, the Nikkah is a religious marriage ceremony. Please join us in prayers for a blessed marriage.

Please note that the reception will follow at the same location, therefore separate outfits for the nikkah and reception are not required.

We are working to provide shuttles leaving from the Sheraton. If you or someone in your party requires a shuttle ride, please ensure it is indicated on your RSVP so we can arrange for your seat. Thanks!

Following the nikkah ceremony, the newlyweds will play traditional games that determine who will "rule" the household.

Social Hour

Enjoy some appetizers and snap some sunset photos as you mingle with other guests before the reception begins.
