 If you're a native Spanish speaker, read it in Spanish. If not, think like the "day we" met :)  

What should I expect for the day of the wedding? 
The ceremony will be at the Immaculate Conception Church, which is an 8-minute walk from the main hotel. After the ceremony, we'll head back to the hotel and then immediately board buses to go to the reception, which is a 15-minute ride. Guests will be brought to and from the reception via bus.

That's cool but talk to me about the reception.
 The reception will be a traditional NOLA cocktail-style reception. This means there is no assigned seating, no cocktail hour, and no plated dinner - just four hours of non-stop celebration! Food will be passed around all night long, featuring 82 different heavy cocktails inspired by traditional New Orleans cooking. Seating will be lounge-style with some table seating for the older folks!

How about the dress code? 
Well, you already know the dress code is going to be papi/mami fresh. We kindly request semi-formal/cocktail attire for the welcome reception on Thursday and black tie formal for the wedding on Saturday. Our female guests are encouraged to wear colorful dresses i.e. avoid black. :)

What if I need to get my hair, makeup and/or nails done?  
Check out Paris Parker or Bleu Blow Dry bar for all your beauty needs! Booking in advance is strongly recommended.

New Orleans, huh? Never been. What should I expect? 
New Orleans is a wonderful, charming city most known for its delicious food, live jazz, culture, and southern hospitality. It is one of the most popular wedding destinations in the U.S. and a tourist hotspot. Although most attractions are within walking distance from where we will be staying, there is a lot to see so make sure to bring comfortable shoes for exploring!

What will the weather be like?
 October in New Orleans has great weather! Expect 70s-80s.

What should I pack? 
Walking is one of the best ways to experience the city, so comfortable shoes and casual clothing are recommended! And don't forget your party gear :)

When should I fly in? 
We encourage flying in on Thursday the 13th so you can get a full weekend to explore the city and attend the wedding festitivities!

Where in New Orleans will we be staying?
 The main hotels are located in the Commercial Business District, just blocks south of the French Quarter and Bourbon Street.

Where should I go in New Orleans? 
You'll run into plenty just wandering the city, but in case you want a head start, we've prepared a list of places to visit just above this section!

I hear the food is great! Any recommendations? 
Arguably the best part about New Orleans is their Cajun/Creole-inspired food. We recommend you try the gumbo, jambalaya, and beignets for dessert!

Where can I find the best live music?
 Live music is in every corner of the French Quarter! But if you're looking for the best, head over to Frenchman Street (a short cab ride). A good starting spot is "The Spotted Cat."

Talk to me about the nightlife in New Orleans. 
New Orleans gets pretty wild at night! All the magic happens on the famed Bourbon Street, a strip lined with bars, lounges, and clubs. Be sure to buy some beads!
