Bride's younger sister and long time copy cat. Camille first met Rachel when she was 0 yrs old (or neg 9 months if you count her fetus days). They have been inseparable ever since... much to the bride's dismay. Camille is currently in her fourth year of medical school at George Washington University.
Thank goodness Meera and the Bride's last names were so close in lettering. They first met at UF vet school and instantly became BFFs. From traveling to Thailand and Colombia they love spending time together and experiencing new cultures and food. Also a GA fan, they enjoy being rivals on FL/GA once a year. Meera lives in Washington D.C.
Katie and the Bride met during Panhellenic Rush at the University of Florida! They were roommates at the Delta Delta Delta Sorority for three years during undergrad. Katie is a nurse and lives with her husband, Matt, and new baby in Tallahassee, FL.
D and the Bride attended high school together where they both enjoyed skipping class and grabbing breakfast. They also enjoyed their undergrad time at the University of Florida cheering on the Florida Gators! Daniela now resides in New York, New York where she is studying for her Master's degree.
Jess and the Bride met the first day of school at UF College of Veterinary Medicine. Jess is mostly responsible for this match made in heaven since she created the Bride's online dating profile. Jess is a Clinical Pathology resident at NC State in Raleigh.
Adarsh, originally from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!) where he majored in Electrical Engineering. He and Eric met in medical school at the University of South Florida where they learned they share many common interests including a healthy (debatable) obsession with chipotle. Adarsh is currently completing his residency in Radiology and Orthodox Judaism in Brooklyn, NY.
The Bride was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She grew up in Lady Lake, Florida and has two siblings. Growing up in central Florida she enjoyed dancing and playing tennis. Rachel also played travel volleyball and competed in equestrian events. Some of her favorite things to do also include traveling, skiing, camping, and fishing. Rachel completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of Florida (go Gators!). During her time in college she was part of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority and competed for UF's Western Showmanship Team. While in her sorority she helped raise over $100,00 for St. Jude Children's Hospital, her favorite philanthropy. She then attended UF's veterinary school and received her DVM in 2018. Rachel and the groom have kept their long distance relationship through school and starting their careers. Rachel now practices as a small animal veterinarian in Central Florida.
Her newest covid hobby is learning to play golf!
