From high school sweethearts to engaged and ready to tie the knot, our journey spans over 10 years, multiple time zones, and twist and turns only seen in romantic movies. Through this journey, Mikayla and I have cultivated a beautiful relationship that stands on trust, respect, dedication, passion, and above all, selfless love for one another. We have shared life’s challenges and triumphs, growing and maturing personally, professionally, and relationally together with the mentality of “Us Vs. The World.”
If given the choice to spend one day to do anything, we both would genuinely answer, “Anything, as long as we are together.” We are proud of the loving partnership we have built together and elated to share the start of this next chapter with you on June 17, 2024!

BEGINNING (HIGH SCHOOL)
Over 10 years ago, I moved to San Antonio and enrolled in a small school where I would go on to meet the most beautiful girl in school! Mikayla was in fact beautiful, way out of my league, and far too tall for me at the time! Thankfully for me, I grew a bit taller over the next year and began to pursue Mikayla in creative ways… It just so happened that our younger sisters played soccer together and were coached by Mikayla’s father. So, naturally, I seized this opportunity by attending every one of the soccer practices, intent on getting Mikayla's attention. The ploy worked and soon we became inseparable. I asked Mikayla to be my girlfriend on March 22nd, 2013 (nearly 1 year since I began mysteriously attending my sister’s soccer practices).

MIDDLE (COLLEGE)
With high school behind us, Mikayla and I faced our first real challenge: College. We always supported one another to chase our dreams and ambitions, no matter how hard it would be for us personally. This took Mikayla to her dream school of Texas A&M, and myself to Baruch College in New York City. Long distance was by no means easy for us, which led to what we jokingly now call “vacations” in our relationship. However, no matter the circumstances, we never stopped communicating, never gave up on each other, and fought to make it work. Upon graduation, I decided to move back to San Antonio and we vowed never to try long distance again.

RECENT (LAW SCHOOL, WORK)
Fresh out of college and back in San Antonio, we continued to build upon our relationship as young adults. Mikayla quickly enrolled in law school to begin her journey to becoming a lawyer, and I entered the business world at a finance company, while also attending in The University of Texas at San Antonio to obtain my master's in finance. These years of hard-work and sleepless nights taught us both the beauty and importance that selfless love, service, sacrifice, and support play in a relationship.

Mikayla is now a licensed and practicing attorney. She thrives on the challenge of being a young lawyer and works diligently to produce top-level work for her firm and her clients. I started my own business and recently took the leap of leaving my prior job to begin working full-time for my company. With wedding bells ringing in the not-so-distant future, this is without a doubt the most exciting time in our life and one that feels like an answer to many prayers.
We are so beyond grateful and ecstatic to share this intimate, special day with you!
