Stories

Chrissy and Kohl met on March 14, 2015 through mutual friends at Crssd Music Festival. They instantly hit it off and have been inseparable ever since. Chrissy and Kohl did long distance for a year before Chrissy moved to San Diego, where they spent two amazing years. Eventually, Kohl got a great job opportunity in Chrissy's home town and they moved to Newport Beach.
Shortly after, Kohl popped the question at Thousand Steps Beach in Laguna. Since then, the two have moved into their first home and have planned three weddings during a pandemic.
Two amazing things have happened during Chrissy and Kohl's (very long) engagement. Chrissy and Kohl adopted Sandy, the cutest little mutt and absolute love of their lives... and the Browns made it to the playoffs!!! While the wedding situation hasn't been ideal, the two can't complain and are very happy.
Chrissy and Kohl look forward to sharing their special day with all of you and can't wait to be surrounded by friends, family and loved ones on their wedding day.

Please join the groom for golf at the resort on Friday while the bride and non- golfers hang out by the beach and pool. Tee times are between 10am-12am and we have a discounted group rate with the course. If you would like to join, please email chrissykohlwedding@gmail.com. Please let us know if you have a preferred time. If you have a group you would like to play with, please include that in the email. Otherwise, we can set you up with a group :)

Welcome Cocktails

Drinks and food with a view! We would like to welcome all of our guests with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at the Upper Deck on Friday evening to kick off the festivities! This is on the resort, so no transportation required. The wedding isn't until 330pm the next day, so plenty of time to get rid of the hangover!

Casual or cocktail attire acceptable!

Airport

John Wayne Airport or LAX

The easiest airport to fly into is John Wayne. It is about a thirty minute ride to the hotel and there should be plenty of taxis and Ubers. You can also fly into LAX, which is about an hour from the hotel with no traffic, but could take much longer if you fly in during peak traffic hours.
