Noodles may be the beginning of an amazing relationship as the place we met, though it is true that this was made possible by swiping right. we began truly learning about one another on the 22nd of July, when Natasha gave Chris her number.
A short five days later, they met for the first time at the Southbank Noodle Markets where they found their mutual love for food, beer and people watching. After hours of awkward hand touches and looking at each other, Natasha gave Chris a lift to his car as the night came to an end. As they said their goodbyes, Chris went to give Natasha a hug and was abruptly asked to leave the car as she drove off in to the night.
The Ekka is a plus of fun for kids, adults and families. Which is why we chose to meet at the Ekka for Isla and Chris to meet for the first time. We all met at a cafe down the road, where he had coffee while Isla was on a sugar high from the car/train trip in to the city. The day was a complete success with the two getting along incredibly well, apart from Isla starring what appeared to be the first shiny, bald head she’d ever seen. When the chance presented itself, Chris was tying Isla’s shoe laces as she reached out to touch his head and find out what’s going on up there.
thus began the never ending remarks of how Bald Chris is and how easy it is to find him because he is bald.
Mt coot-tha is not only a beautiful place to visit, but it was where we spent our fourth date. 26th of August 2019 Chris reserved a window table at the Summit restaurant for The three of us to have a romantic dinner on our anniversary. A few surprises came out on this night, one of which finding out that we never again will take Isla with us on a romantic night, nor to a fancy dinner. The other surprise though was the ring Chris had in his pocket and proposed that night. Which to this day, Isla tells the story as a terrible embarrassment to her with so many onlookers about that night, though in truth she had tears of joy as not only did Chris have a ring for Natasha, but a Heart necklace for Isla as he asked her if he could marry her mother.
