Introduce yourself: Hello everyone. I’m Stephanie Ndifor, Oge’s medical school classmate. We interviewed together and forgot to exchange numbers so we laughed when we saw each other during orientation.
What do you love most about the Bride: Oge is unintentionally funny when she expresses herself. Her comments about literally everything crack me up. She is honest and blunt which I appreciate because I am the same. She is caring and kind to everyone but brushes it off as nothing when you point it out to her. She is very humble. I am happy she is in my life and her patients are blessed to have her as their physician. I wish her and Chudi a happy marriage with lots of babies
My name is Nnamdi. I’m a workaholic. Chudi’s my brother. We pretty much grew up together.
What I love about Chudi is he’s always available when you need assistance. He’s tough and caring. He doesn’t give anyone a hard time. He doesn’t normally put himself first which is why I used to worry about him, but it’s a rare good quality.
Kelvin Olajimi Moses is the husband of Yessenia Moses and father of three-year old Xavier Moses. Kelvin is a graduate of Georgetown University and has been close friends with Chudi for nearly fifteen years, dating back to their first meeting during initial visits to Georgetown back in 2005. Kelvin and Chudi have been very close friends since starting their Freshman year, including having been roommates together for a period of time and members of the Universities football program. Their friendship continued to evolve thereafter ultimately leading both to New York City where they both worked on Wall Street. Most recently, Chudi stood as Kelvin’s Best Man during his wedding in the Summer of 2015. What Kelvin loves most about Chudi is his extraordinary recollection of music lyrics, his blind commitment to family and friends, his inability to say no to a pick-up basketball game, and his incredible desire to bring laughter to those around him.
My name is Anthony, but everyone calls me TJ and I am Chudi's cousin. We grew up together and remained so close that I see him as a younger brother. Chudi and I find good times cracking jokes. You have to see us on the dancefloor too! But believe it or not, when we're serious, we always talk finance and future aspirations. I am excited to be apart of this beautiful union and also very excited to see him embark on this new journey with Oge!
I love that Chudi always puts family first!
My name is Michael Weber, I live in Philadelphia with my wife Melanie and our dog opie. I’m a Philadelphia sports fanatic, avid golfer, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and love trying new food and drink. Chudi and I have know each other since we were 5 years old. We went to kindergarten through senior year of High school together. Our friendship really took off during lunch time basketball games and over our shared love of 90s and 2000s hiphop.
What I love about Chudi is whenever I see him it’s as if no time has passed and we pick up right where we left off. We definitely spend a lot of time laughing and joking around.
Hello! my name is Daniel and I’m Oge’s brother.
I am a Biomedical Engineer currently working/living in Lagos, Nigeria.
I met Chudi in London during one of his business trips back in 2017. We had dinner together and got to know each other a bit.
From the get go, I could tell that he was special and we hit it off almost immediately. Since then, we’ve tried to meet up whenever we were in the same city because of it’s definitely never a dull moment around either of us.
Chudi is a wonderful person to get to know, he is intelligent, kind and respectful. He really embodies the traits I appreciate in people.
It will be a pleasure to have him as a brother-in-law, and I look forward to the blessings and joy that fills his marriage with Oge.
"Chudi is my brother in law; not only that, we have grown to become friends. We met 2 years ago in Dubai where we enjoyed Caribbean cuisine and a few drinks. He welcomed me into the family with open arms and made me feel right at home! We've since shared plenty more drinks and late night outs in Philly.
I love that chudi cares a lot about family. He has a huge heart, very intelligent and has a great sense of humor too."
David is one of Chudi’s best friends from high school!
"Our friendship started because of sports. We spent countless hours hanging out before and after football, basketball and track (yes I said track....don’t be fooled by Chudi’s size, the man can move!)."
"I love our friendship. We can go months without speaking and we can just pick it up where we left off. Chudi was always there for me and he is an amazing friend. I don’t think I’ve laughed more with any other person. It doesn’t matter where we were - class, in practice, school mass, etc. - would always be holding back laughter. To this day, I still think back on the funny moments and it always brings a smile to my face."
"Chudi,
My big cousin. Social media has its perks, in a sense. One being the ability to bring family and friends closer together.
Growing up in different states and not being able to see each other often was made a lot simpler through these platforms. I remember when I was in high school and finding out that my cousin was a football player at Georgetown University. It meant everything to me because I wanted to be a collegiate athlete like my big cousin. He was a key reason in my driving force to earn an athletic scholarship.
Chudi and I didn’t always have the opportunity to speak but when we did it was always in a congratulatory expression.
Today, the same expression extends. Congrats on finding love. Congrats on your new journey in marriage. I’m happy to witness this life changing experience.
Love you bro."
Ian Conyers is an American politician who represented the 4th District of Michigan in the Michigan Senate for one term. He Conyers sat on the Economic Development & International Investment, Energy & Technology, and Banking & Financial Services Committees in the State Senate. He was minority vice chair of the Transportation Committee.
He and Chudi met on the football team at Georgetown university, lived as roommates and have remained pals for life.
I love Chudi’s brilliant sense of humor and his commitment to family and friends throughout the years. He has sharp wit and cares deeply about the well being of those who are lucky enough to know him as a brother.
Joe DiPace is an accountant living in Philadelphia. He enjoys long walks on the beach, a tantalizing book, and curling up by the fire with a plate of red meat. Chudi and Joe met when they were just young, starry-eyed children at Saint Mary of the Lakes. They became friends almost immediately, sharing the same love and passion for vibrant tapestries and the practice of mixed martial arts.
The thing that Joe loves most about Chudi is his ability to reenact every scene from the movie "The Sound of Music". Joe is also enamored of Chudi's infectious charisma, which is only augmented by his stunning physique and devilish dimples. He is truly a sculpted masterpiece of a man.
Ubaka is the cousin of the groom. He is from Boston, MA and works in the pharmaceutical industry. Ubaka and Chudi grew up frequently visiting family houses for holidays and summer breaks.
What he loves about his cousin: His lightheartedness
Miguel Hamutenya is the Executive Director of Millennium Investment Group which is a family owned conglomerate headquartered in Namibia Windhoek. I met Chudi in New York at an investment conference where I was apart of our Head of States business delegation that traveled with the state to engage with potential investors and business counterparts in showcasing business opportunities in Namibia.
During the conference I met Chudi who at that time was working for Goldman Sachs just before he left to go to AP Moller. Not only because of business but myself and Chudi clicked as friends with similar interests and I got the sense that he was not only a sharp and hard working executive but putting that aside he was a well brought up genuine gentlemen that even if nothing materialised business wise I considered him a true friend which we thereafter kept Intouch and would frequently meet in Dubai and London as we would always keep in contact and shared memorable memories. On the contrast since the day I first met Chudi a good few years ago he would speak to me about this lovely young lady that has swept him of he’s feet and he was going to certainly going to marry and here we are witnessing Chudi which I would consider a "go getter” is living he’s dream with the love of he’s life.
If I had to describe what I love about Chudi. Chudi is a Humble, hard working, compassionate leader and what really caught my attention is from my personally experience most African Americans I’ve met in my past and present would consider themselves American when I meet them but Chudi stood with he’s chest up high introducing himself as a Nigerian that grew up in the United States but is true to he’s culture and knows exactly where he comes from and what he wants in life. This tells me a lot about an individual and I could go on and on about many things I love about Chudi but what really stood out to me is him being truly genuine which to me is the strongest trait someone can have.
I send my blessings and love to the new married couple and wish them nothing but happiness and success.
Luchi and Chudi have been friends for years now. They first met while both were working as private equity investors at Goldman Sachs in NYC. Luchi left GS in 2018 and is now pursuing his MBA at Harvard Business School. He hails from Ebenator, Nnewi South LGA, Anambra State, Nigeria.
I have always been impressed by Chudi’s dogged commitment to his two great loves, Family and building a better Africa. On the family front, I was always struck by how often even after a long week in the office you’d head to NJ to spend the weekend with your family even if schedules only allowed you to be there for the night. On the Africa front, I continue to be impressed by how dedicated you have been to the cause of investing at Home. Even when detractors raised questions about whether our continent was worth it, you sought out and secured a differentiated role that has allowed you to invest behind projects that truly make a difference in the lives of Africans.
