We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you! We wanted to share our story…
It was January 2020 when we met in Australia. Laurence was working in the Whitsunday Islands, and Charlotte was holidaying with one of her best friends, Lucy. Charlotte & Lucy had not long stepped off a boat after 3 nights at sea, and there Laurence was with his Northern charm and Aussie tan!
Before Charlotte had got back to the UK we had already made plans to go skiing in France. After a lot of facetiming and messages back and forth, the second time we met it was off to the airport for an amazing week in Val d’Isere. Shortly after an unforgettable few weeks, we met each other’s parents and said those all 3 important words. Laurence quickly made the decision to move back to the UK and moved in with Charlotte… and the rest is history!
Since then Laurence has joined the Anthony family company, we have bought and extended our forever home, and added to our family with Ziggy - our gorgeous German Short Haired Pointer.
In September 2021 Laurence made Charlotte the happiest girl in the world by popping the question on a family holiday in Mallorca, while out at sea! Then in April 2023 we welcomed our beautiful baby girl Poppy Iris Matthewson. We are the proudest parents and are so excited to have our baby girl with us on our wedding day! X
