We would love to have you join us for exclusive cart style dishes during our cocktail hour! The Bride, Groom, and families have put a lot of thought into making your cuisine experience an unforgettable one! So come hungry and come on time!
7:00 -7:30 PM Seating

7:30 PM Onwards
Dance, Music, Masti all night long! Bring your favourite dancing shoes! Brush up on your Punjabi music! We can't wait to dance with all of you!
Sagan Dress Code
Although there is no formal dress code for this event, the theme for this event is pastels and courtyard garden!
Feel free to get creative!
Free Parking
There is plenty of free parking available on the premises. However, we strongly encourage our guests to NOT drink and drive! Please think of others on the road.
Parking (come early)
At all times there is limited parking at the waterfront. While there are parking lots adjacent to both of the ships, there is no guarantee that there will be space. Please come early. There is additional parking at the Metro Convention Centre (entrance on Lower Simcoe St) and two lots near York St.
What the heck is happening now Chandan?!?!
We went a bit unorthodox with this one! Mehdni and Mehfil on a boat! The grooms side is honoured to invite guests from all over the world, many who have never been to Canada. What better way to show our love for Toronto than sailing on the waterfront with our friends and family!
6:00 PM Boarding
If there was ever one event that our guests need to be arrive on time for, its this one! We will be congregating outside the boat Yankee Lady III (3) located located at 249 Queens Quay W. in front of the Radisson Admiral Hotel to the right of the Marine Police Station at the foot of Rees St. If you follow the path down the side of the police station you will see the Yacht docked to your left on the dock.
The reason it is so important to arrive on time is that the boat will LEAVE AT 7PM! Unless you are a great swimmer, and don't mind a little Toronto lake water, it will not be possible to board the boat thereafter.
7:00 PM Departure of Boat
The Yacht will leave at this time, and if you're late. You literally miss the boat! Specially curated passed hors d'oeuvres with an Indian and Asian flare will be served along with speciality drinks!
8:00 PM Mehdni
For the ladies on the boat (and guys too if that's your jam), we will have live specialist adorning henna on all the guests and family!
9:00 PM Live Music & Dinner
We are very blessed to know such talented people in Toronto! We have a few special guests lined up who will be singing old classic songs, to modern hits all while enjoying a fun few dishes on the boat!
10:00 PM Live DJ
Get ready to dance the night away with some modern hit songs and Top 40 music!
12:00 AM Boat Returns
You would have made it through the Singh Mehndi Masti Mehfil and are released to go home finally! Please note it is not possible to leave the boat early once it docks. Once you are on the boat, it will not return till 12AM. Please keep this detail in mind if you need to be home early.
Please RSVP
We wanted to do really something unique for our guests and especially our out of town guests! What better way to celebrate Toronto than on the waterfront on a yacht! Given that the venue is a yacht, spaces are limited and we are not allowed to exceed the maximum capacity. We ask that you please limit the attendance to 2 people, or unless otherwise stated on the event card. Please do confirm your RSVP on the website to confirm your spot!

Whats Happening?
9:00 AM Reception of Baraat
This is the hype part of the ceremony! The groom enters with friends and family jamming out to some dhol & tunes! Arrive on time and you'll get to see Chandan bust out some bhangra on a horse!
9:30 AM Milni
Groom's side will be meeting the bride's side formally for the first time. Love will be exchanged between family members during this traditional meeting of the families. Following this, everyone will indulge in a lavishly prepared breakfast! This will be more than just tea; so come hungry!

The ceremony starts with the women seated to the left, and men seated to the right. Your head must be covered. Women are expected to wear outfits which have a dupatta or scarf component. Men will be provided with head coverings matching the bride/groom's side. If the gentlemen are wearing turbans, please try to wear them matching to the bride's (mint green) and groom's (light pink) colour. The ceremony will conclude with guests taking pictures with the bride and groom.
12:00 PM Lunch
Lunch will be served in the green house, standing. There will be some select seating for the elderly or challenged. Be sure to look out for live cooking stations for freshly prepared dishes!
1:00 PM Departure
At this time we will have concluded the event. Family members will head to the bride's house to complete the doli rituals.
What to wear?
The ceremony is outdoors! First and foremost we recommend your outfits be breathable fabrics such as silk, chiffon, georgette; try to avoid polyester and velvet!
Colour Scheme:
Groom's Side will be wearing light pink. Preferred dress code for guests: Light pink, mint green, or gold. This is our suggestion, but if this doesn't work for you, we understand! We don't want to inconvenience anyone. Keep in mind: You can always hit up Chandan Fashion to get suited up ;)
Brides Side: Will be wearing sea green. Again, this is our suggestion for the bridal party colours. If that doesn't work for you, don't worry! Whatever you have is just fine! Other colours which also work are gold, and light pink.
We appreciate the effort you guys would make in this, we know its a big ask. Thank you! :)
Space
Given the outdoor nature of this event, space is limited. We wish we could fit all of our friends in the venue. However the limitations on the space given by the venue is something we have to follow. We ask that guests keep their maximum attendance to 2 unless otherwise stated. Please do RSVP with how many guests are coming with you! Thanks for understanding everyone!
