Welcome Cocktail Reception

Hosted by The Stanleys

Please join us from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. for welcome cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres at Sapphire Beach Bar.

Dress Code

Be comfortable! Sapphire Beach Bar is part open-air bar and part beach.

Wedding Day Details

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Villa Serenita on Cabrita Point in the East End.

Please arrive by taxi and carpool if possible, as parking will be extremely limited.

Please arrive around 4:30. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 p.m.

Dress Code

Island chic? Tropical Cocktail Casual? What does that even mean?

You can expect to see guys wearing button downs and slacks, coat optional, no ties... and ladies wearing casual or cocktail dresses.

The most important thing is to wear your dancing shoes.  Or kick them off...

Transportation

Parking will be limited at the villa, so we strongly recommend arriving by taxi. East End taxis will know the villa, but if not, you will find it on Google Maps. Most of the taxis are 14-passenger vans (accommodating 10 comfortably), so feel free to coordinate with others. Depending on where you are staying, you should count on at least 15-20 minutes to arrive. No worries if you're a little early!

Casual Come & Go

Join the newly-married couple on the beach for Sunday Funday. The beach is next to Cruzan Beach Club and Sunset Grille, and happy hour is all day long!

We'll be around from 11:00 a.m. onward for casual drinks, lunch, snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, and fun in the sun.

Dress Code

It's a beach! Bring towels, snorkeling gear, even your own cooler and drinks. (All beaches on St. Thomas are public. Beach resorts will offer chair / umbrella rentals and towels, SUP's, kayaks, etc.)

BVI Island Hopping

If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore the British Virgin Islands, please join the newly-married couple for a 5-day sailing excursion.

On Monday morning (January 20th) we'll catch a ferry from Red Hook in St. Thomas to Tortola*, where we'll board our floating homes (catamarans) for an island hopping adventure around the BVI.

Our "flotilla" will descend on some of the area's most notable and exciting destinations, including the Willy T floating bar, the baths at Virgin Gorda, and the Soggy Dollar Bar, home of the original Pain Killer. Along the way, we'll SCUBA dive, snorkel, fish, paddle board, and generally have a big ol' time.

For help with booking your own catamaran or to join one that's already in the works, please contact our dear friend Ginny Kelly at Ginny Kelly Travel & Co.

*We'll enter the British Virgin Islands via Tortola, so a passport will be required to clear customs.
