Brooke likes to say that Gabe loved her from afar for years before they started dating, but the love from afar really started when she friended him on Facebook senior year of high school – before college even started and before they had met in person. Brooke was a lot cooler than Gabe in college, so their paths didn’t cross frequently, but the few times they did meet seemed to leave an impression.
Brooke and Gabe didn’t see each other for a couple years post-college. Their paths didn’t cross again until November 2013, when Gabe’s friends Rameen and Dan had plans to go to Brooke’s 24th birthday at Brahmin in Boston. Gabe decided to tag along, and told them that he’d be happy to attend “his future wife’s birthday” – verbatim quote. Luckily for Gabe, Brooke was able to see past his questionable facial hair and agreed to go out with him.
They had their first date at Whiskey Priest (RIP) in the Seaport in Boston, and the rest is history. They’re now a family of three with their perfect dog Chloe, and are excited to tie the knot in Vail surrounded by their friends and family.
