Detroit Metro Airport
For out of town guests, thank you for traveling to share such a special time with Blake and Jenna!
We recommend flying into the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). The venue is located about an hour from the airport.
Crowne Plaza
Blake and Jenna recommend making reservations at Crowne Plaza in Auburn Hills. Guests who make reservations at the Crowne Plaza will receive a discounted rate and complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from the wedding. In order to receive the discount and shuttle service, you must make reservations through the front desk. Reservations must be made prior to April 19, 2019.

Reservation details:
A block of rooms have been reserved at the Crowne Plaza for the Orr Ellett Wedding. A room with one king bed OR two double beds will be available for $145 (plus tax) on May 11th; this rate includes the shuttle to and from the venue. Rooms are also available the night before for $125 (plus tax). Please reference the Orr Ellett Wedding when making reservations.

Wedding Day Shuttle
Shuttle services are provided by Crowne Plaza through Lavdas Limousines. Please note that the shuttle bus is only available to guests who reserve a hotel room through the Crowne Plaza and reservations must be made through the front desk only.

Fowling & Axe Throwing, Auburn Hills
-Fowling is one of Blake & Jenna's favorite things to do when visiting Michigan! Though this is not the same location they normally visit, this location is a short walk from the Crowne Plaza.
Drive time from the Crowne Plaza: 2 min. (0.5 mi.)
Greenfield Village, Dearborn
-This is one of the bride's favorite places to visit! If you arrive to Michigan early, Jenna highly recommends visiting Greenfield Village; make sure to stop by Cotswold Cottage Tea for delicious tea and scones! You can also visit The Henry Ford Museum and Ford Rouge Factory for a true Motor City experience!

Detroit Zoo, Royal Oak
-Who doesn't love the zoo?! The Detroit Zoo has wonderful exhibits including the new Polk Penguin Exhibit. Jenna recommends visiting some of the bats, sloth, and flying squirrels she used to care for, too!

Frankenmuth, Michigan
-An annual tradition for the Orr's is to visit Frankenmuth, Michigan. Frankenmuth is known for its Bavarian-style architecture and German roots. It's a fun town with great food and shopping. The Orr's recommend dining at Zehnder's!

Windsor, Ontario, Canada
-Several out of town guests have shown interest in visiting Canada while in town for the wedding, so this section is for you! Windsor is about a 45 minute drive from the Crowne Plaza and a 35 minute drive from Detroit Metro Airport. Please plan accordingly to not miss the wedding festivities and be sure to bring your passport or enhanced license if you choose to visit!
Blue Nile, Ferndale
-Blake and Jenna's favorite spot to eat in Michigan is Blue Nile! If you love Ethiopian food or are looking to be a bit more adventerous with your cuisine, Blue Nile is the place for you. Make sure to try their tea!

El Charro, Troy
-Perhaps the best Mexican restaurant chain in southeast Michigan. Be sure to try the "puffy" taco!

Rainforest Cafe, Auburn Hills
-This is the place to go if you're feeling a bit on the wild side. Located in Great Lakes Crossing Outlets mall, you can get in some shopping, too!

Hamlin Pub, Rochester Hills
-Hamlin Pub is an Orr family favorite; try the Black & Bleu steak bites for an appetizer. You can't go wrong!

Coyote Joe's, Shelby Charter Twp
-"Everybody goes where everybody knows!" This country bar plays all the latest and greatest country hits, has a mechanical bull, and ladies drinks are $1 before 11 pm on Thursdays.

B. Nektar, Ferndale
-A meadery in downtown Ferndale that specializes in meads (fermented honey) and ciders. There is usually a food truck outside for dinner; inside contains every board game you could ever wish for! Bring a friend and try the Zombie Killer cider, Jenna's favorite!

-This quirky & fun bar is Alice in Wonderland theme! Another favorite of Jenna's and the Wedding Shower venue!
