Ben and Brian first met in sixth grade at the St. Jane de Chantal school in Bethesda, and became great friends during their time at St. John's College High School in DC. Because Ben and Brian got to be so close during high school, there isn't anybody in the bridal party that has seen Brian at his worst more than Ben. Brian had a pretty rough time in high school and probably caused Ben a lot of unnecessary stress and drama. Brian even missed Ben's wedding and let him know extra late, so Brian is still causing Ben a lot of unnecessary stress. Even though Ben had to deal with so much during those times, he still calls Brian his friend. Brian is lucky to know such a great guy and have such a great friend.
Cristina has known Kristen since kindergarten where they both got bullied by the same girl at the Our Lady of Lourdes School. Even though Kristen's mom pulled her out of that school after 5th grade, they still remained in touch over the years. Fast forward to post-college, adulthood, and starting a new chapter in their lives, Cristina and Kristen decided to live together in Baltimore. They went from playing together on the playground as kids to sipping wine on their couch talking about their lives, loves, hopes, dreams and just laughing about the stupidest things. These two could never get enough of each other. It is beautiful to have a friend that never asks for anything other than company, and Kristen has that with Cristina.
Kristen has known Arnette as long as they can both remember. They would spend their childhood days pretending to be sailor moon scouts, swimming like mermaids, playing Nintendo, and eating endless amounts of Filipino food. One of the most memorable moments was when Arnette broke the Iron Giant dvd by rewinding it too much because they kept laughing at one scene. With their hard-headed and hyperactive personalities, they both drove Arnette's mom insane as she babysat them. You can say they were like twins and one would mistake them as sisters, but they were definitely one of each other's oldest friends. As kids they didn't realize they were making memories they just knew they were having fun, and for Kristen she always has the most fun with Arnette.
Morgan and Kristen met at the steps of Connelly School of the Holy Child for soccer try outs when they started their high school years. Growing up together through their teenage years and being there for each other on their sweet 16s, prom night, beach week, and most importantly the first time kissing a boy, Morgan and Kristen were together through it all. After graduation, Morgan and Kristen parted ways as Morgan went to Wisconsin and Kristen stayed in Maryland for college. Till this day Morgan has never come back to live on the east coast but they never stopped calling or seeing each other whenever Morgan was back in town and always picked up right where they left off. Even though Morgan is not always with Kristen, she is always there for her and Kristen cannot imagine her wedding day without her.
Kenneth is not only Kristen's baby brother but also Kristen's first friend and number one supporter. Through all the years of teasing and irritating each other (mainly Kristen) they also would spend time together just growing up and bonding over watching movies and 90's kid tv shows like Disney & Studio Ghibli films, Harry Potter, Pokemon, Arthur, Spongebob... the list is endless. There were nights where they would sneak around and just stay up late together playing on the GameBoy or PS2. There was even a time when Kristen would dominate Kenneth in Super Smash Bros. But the most important thing they share is the love for their parents who give them unconditional love and reminding them to always take care of each other. Kristen cannot imagine her life without Kenneth and is proud and lucky to have Kenneth stand by her side as she marries her prince.
