TRAVELLING BY TRAIN
The closest Train station is Hampton Court. Its 5 minutes from the Palace. Its a straight train from Waterloo. It takes 50 minutes.
TRAVELLING BY CAR
The entrance to the palace for pedestrians and cars is via Trophy Gate, situated on the A309.
There is a car park on site, as well as an overflow carpark across the road.
LONDON UNDERGROUND
There is no London Underground station at Hampton Court. The nearest Underground stations are in Wimbledon and Richmond, where connecting bus routes are available.
CAR PARKING AT HAMPTON COURT PALACE
Limited parking is available. Car parking is available on a first come, first served basis, with payment required on site. During our busy periods it is advisable to consider other means of travel.
Car parking on site is £1.60 per hour, payable by card. Car parking bays fit a standard car only.
Parking machines are touch screen; sanitiser dispensers are located next to the machines. Alternatively, you can use the Glide app.

Located 500 metres from the entrance of the palace and is charged at £1.50 per hour. You can also find the car park entrance on what3words.
HAMPTON COURT TRAIN STATION
Hampton Court train station is located 200 metres from the palace entrance. For information about prices, please visit the National Rail website.
BUSHY PARK
Bushy Park is a 15-minute walk from the palace. For more information, visit the Royal Parks website.
WALTON ROAD CAR PARK
Walton Road car park has 151 spaces, located at East Molesey, KT8 0DL. It is a 20-minute walk from the palace and it is served by the 411 bus route. For more information, visit the Elmbridge Council website.
KINGSTON UPON THAMES
Multiple public car parks are located nearby in Kingston upon Thames. Hampton Court Palace is a short bus journey via routes 111 or 216, which can be picked up from stop P2 or R in Kingston town centre.
