"I left my heart in San Francisco, High on a hill, it calls to me."

While Asha and Jason met in an Empire State of Mind in New York, New York, Asha calls the City by the Bay home.  And with a crimson bridge, cable cars, a sparkling bay, and streets lined with elegant Victorian homes, San Francisco is undeniably one of the most picturesque and iconic cities in the world.

We hope you love it as much as we do!

Flights

There are three major airports serving San Francisco. San Francisco International (SFO) is the closest with good public transportation options by which to get to the city; its about a 15-20minute drive in no traffic.

Oakland International Airport (OAK) is almost as close to downtown San Francisco. The drive to the city can vary from approximately 20minutes, but up to an hour during peak traffic. It is often less busy and easier to navigate than SFO.

San Jose International Airport (SJC) is also a smaller airport than SFO and offers competitive prices. However, getting to San Francisco is a little trickier than the other two airports.

Transportation

For those of you staying in the city, parking can be difficult and expensive, and Uber can be an efficient way to get around.

If you plan on staying or travelling outside San Francisco, public transportation does not always offer convenient options. Investigate beforehand, and consider renting a car if trains are sparse and Uber/Lyft/taxis would be an expensive option.
