Getting there/Area Attractions
Travel and Transportation
We recommend that you fly into Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR), which is 45 minutes from Punta de Mita.
Coming from Chicago (ORD)- United has nonstop flights to PVR daily. Other major airlines fly into PVR with a short layover.
Passports: You'll need them! Please check your passport to make sure it is valid now and at least 6 months after your return to the US.
Getting to St. Regis from PVR Airport:
Arriving with a group? We recommend arranging private transportation through the St. Regis concierge. Each private SUV can accommodate up to six people for a flat fare of approximately $125 dollars. Rolling deep? Each private sprinter van can accommodate up to 12 people for approximately $202 dollars.
Flying solo? Taxi's and Uber's are available. To catch your Uber, you will walk out of the airport turn left and head over the pedestrian overpass bridge and meet your Uber next door to Tacon de Marlin. Taxi's are available right outside, but will be slightly more expensive than an Uber.
All dining reservations on and off property as well as any activities, spa services etc. can be arranged directly through your butler if staying on property at St.Regis resort #textyourbutler
Golf- The resort proudly features two Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses. Set on 380 acres of peninsula bordered by both the Pacific Ocean and beautiful Banderas Bay it is truly a spectacular setting.

If you dare leave your lounge chair, a few of our favorite things to do
Baby sea turtle release- Led by a marine biologist, learn about the thousands of sea turtles that nest in Banderas Bay each year and help to release the new hatchlings into the ocean. Very awesome experience done at the Four Seasons Beach (arranged through St. Regis concierge or butler).
Surfing- Get out and ride the waves with a private instructor done right at the St. Regis beach, super fun to try for all skill levels.
Marietas Islands, Hidden Beach, Snorkeling & Sightseeing- Private uninhabited island access by boat, very spectacular! Lots of activities please arrange a day trip with the concierge or butler.

Champagne Saber
Coming early? Join us Friday night for a fun St. Regis tradition that dates back to the first St. Regis Hotel in New York, circa 1904. Guests gather for a ceremonial champagne sabering to celebrate the transition from the day into night. Let's pop Champagne and kick off the weekend! Approx 6pm in the Altamira Lobby.
