Welcome to Mallorca!

We hope you take some time to explore the island and see why we consider it such a special place. And if you’re afforded the time, our destination wedding could make for a brilliant mini-vacation.

Below are our recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, shops and beaches that you may wish to check out during your stay.

South East

This is the area surrounding our wedding venue and where most hotels recommended are located.

Cassai Beach House - located on the beautiful Colonia de Sant Jordi, this seaside restaurant/bar is so chic and the food is excellent.

5 Illes - beachfront restaurant in Colonia de Sant Jordi with a cool vibe and great paellas.

Casa Manolo - great traditional Mallorcan food and tapas

Es Trenc Beach – miles and miles of white sand and turquoise water. On your way back, pop into the quaint Flor de Sal shop and pick up some tasty salt pots, which are created from the salt dunes that you will drive past. We recommend the box with the miniatures of various flavours.

Mondrago Beach - situated within the Mondrago Natural Park, with beautiful crystal blue waters.

Santanyi Market - Saturday morning is buzzing at Santanyi Market, filled with stalls selling everything from traditional Mallorcan food delicacies to artisan decor and jewellery. Arrive early and spend the morning walking around the town's streets and enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes available. The market runs from 9am to 1.30pm.

Colonia Sant Jordi - there are so many places to visit and excursions to embark on in this picturesque seaside town.

Rest of the Island

If you decide to rent a car we advice exploring this beautiful island:

Palma - Mallorca's Capital city. Be sure to include La Seu Cathedral and the area of La Lonja in your stops.

Soller – Beautiful valley town and seaside port.

Valldemossa & Deia – Valldemossa is a beautifully picturesque town in the mountains. Drive a bit further along the mountain coastline, to the town of Deia, where we recommend that you have lunch at Cas Patro March. Be sure to book ahead or you won't get in and bring cash as they do not take credit cards.

Sa Calobra - An picturesque part pebble/part sand beach situated at the end of a gorge made by the Torrent de Pareis (as seen in the main picture on this webpage). The access is via a very winding road.

Es Colomer Viewpoint - Elevated lookout on the Formentor road with spectacular views of the sea & surrounding cliffs. If you want to go a bit further, go up to the Torre de Albercutx for a beautiful sunset.

Can Gavella, Muro - Cool beach restaurant on the sand dunes of Muro Beach.

Ponderosa Beach, Muro - The ultimate boho and relaxed restaurant, right next to Can Gavella, on Muro Beach.

Beaches & Coves - the best beaches and coves to visit.

Puerto Portals - A chic marina filled with luxurious yachts and an array of restaurants offering all types of cuisine.

Port of Andratx - A charming fisherman's port with lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries.

Scenic Drives - There are so many beautiful spots to discover!
