Coconut Grove Organic Farmer's Market (Saturday AM)
Starting at 10am on Saturday morning, make your way to 3300 Grand Avenue for The Coconut Grove Organic Market, a neighborhood staple for decades and one of the area's best-kept secrets. There is a little something for everyone, specifically catering to the vegan, vegetarian, and organic crowd. Many different local food vendors offer unique and varied products, including nut-based, plant-based, dairy-free, and vegan options. There are other intriguing products and services at this farmers market, including antiques, jewelry, clothing, extra virgin olive oils and more!
Bike the Commodore Trail
The Commodore Trail is a paved cycling route that takes you through the heart of Coconut Grove. From the Ritz, head North on Bayshore Drive for a 2.5 mile ride through Kennedy Park, past Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, to Alice Wainwright Park. From there, cycling enthusiasts can hop on the 8-mile Rickenbacker Trail all the way to Key Biscayne. Most local hotels, including the Courtyard and the Ritz, have bicycles available for guests to use.
Get Out on the Water
If you're looking to get out on the water, Dinner Key Marina in the heart of Coconut Grove is for you. Miami Watersports offers a variety of on-the-water experiences including parasailing, Flyboarding, Hobie Cats, Jet Ski’s, tubing, kayaks, paddleboards, windsurfing, jetpacks and private charters. You can play it safe and go tubing with friends and family, or try something new and fly through the air with their water-propelled jetpacks. Miami Watersports was the first company in South Florida to have the Flyboard available to customers. They are also the only company to rent Hobie Cats and offer windsurfing in Miami.

Hands down, the best meal in Coconut Grove. Executive Chef and Owner Michael Beltran’s vision — shaped by passion for his Cuban heritage, devotion to championing Miami ingredients and tradition, and commitment to classic French technique — guides one of the city’s most talented restaurant teams in every dish, every drink, every moment at Ariete. Take a ride through a tasting menu or experience their canard à la presse in the dining room. Join them at the bar for their Florida Orange and a cocktail. In 2022, they put a Michelin Star on the wall.
Los Felix
Michelin-starred Mexican cuisine in the heart of Coconut Grove. At Los Félix, they honor the indigenous way by supporting Milpa farming, an ancestral tradition of cultivating the soil with awareness of the sacred connection between self and land. Through Milpa, they shine a spotlight on fresh, time-honored native ingredients like heirloom corn, cacao, chiles, and squash. Their homage continues with an in-house Molino where they cook and grind maiz daily to make tortillas from scratch, all in the living wisdom of Milpa to mesa, or farm to table.
Atchana's Homegrown Thai
From cooking with only locally grown herbs and spices sourced from the Redlands, to building the bar with reclaimed greenheart wood from Grove Bay Marina and Dinner Key, Atchana’s Homegrown is all about keeping it real. They provide honest, down home authentic Thai food, serving delicious, unique dishes in a friendly atmosphere where you feel at home. They support small business by having community partners such as local micro-breweries and South Florida farms providing the freshest ingredients and spices.
Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza
Mister O1 was born from the idea that an extraordinary pizza requires the utmost attention to detail and the finest ingredients, the necessary tools for an artist to produce a masterpiece. Mister O1 uses only the finest and freshest ingredients and most of them are imported from Italy or locally sourced. The artisanal pizza is a delicate thin crust style with very light dough, which is prepared and rests for a minimum of 72 hours into natural levitation before being served.
Salt and Straw
What started as a push cart in Portland, Oregon is now one of the most popular ice cream chains in the country. Each location has a crafted menu that showcases the incredible farmers, chefs, and artisans of that city. The Coconut Grove location is a collaboration with the city’s most beloved cast of makers, creating a menu just for Miami, from Salt & Straw.
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, previously known as Villa Vizcaya, is the former villa and estate of businessman James Deering, on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove. The early 20th-century Vizcaya estate also includes extensive Italian Renaissance gardens, native woodland landscape, and a historic village outbuildings compound. The landscape and architecture were influenced by Veneto and Tuscan Italian Renaissance models and designed in the Mediterranean Revival architecture style, with Baroque elements. Vizcaya is an enduring, inclusive and innovative place that inspires people to embrace the cultural vitality and environmental sustainability of the world around us.
Wynwood Walls
If you're looking for something fun to do outside of Coconut Grove, Wynwood is an eclectic district in the urban core of Miami, Florida. It is home to art galleries, retail stores, antique shops, eclectic bars, artisanal eateries and one of the largest open-air street-art installations in the world. Street art helped spark Wynwood’s renaissance as artists from around the world have sought inspiration in the area’s windowless facades and used them as canvases to showcase their work, leading to the vivid murals that adorn the district. At the heart of the neighborhood is Wynwood Walls, Miami's original street art museum.
