Leigh grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. She followed in her mother's footsteps going to the University of Alabama and pledging Chi O. Luckily, I only half followed my mother (she was a Chi O at Auburn) and I too pledged Chi O at Alabama where I met Leigh Langley.
Leigh and I planned to move to Nashville together after college. Our dads helped us pick out the perfect apartment only for us to change our minds on what we were going to do in life. Leigh went back to Memphis to work in a level 1 trauma hospital before applying to nurse anesthetist school. She went to grad school in Nashville and then moved to Houston, Texas to start her career of being a bad ass.
Libby is my first and longest friend, thanks to our parents being close friends. Libby's mom, Ginna, likes to say I was her first baby. Libby and I grew up together and are practically family.
Libby went to Auburn for a year but her loyalty never waivered. She ended up transferring to The University of Alabama where our friendship continued to grow. Libby now lives in Tuscaloosa with her husband Edward. (Shout out to Libby and her MIL, Ms. Emily, for helping me find the perfect wedding dress).
Anna is another life long friend I am so blessed to have. We met in Kindergarten and became fast friends. Unfortunately we never got to share a teacher or classroom even though we went to the same school the majority of our early education. That did not stop us from writing notes and keeping up with each other on AIM.
Anna went to Auburn (and became my mother's favorite) where she met her husband Zach playing rec basketball. They have two amazing boys Jay & Davis. Anna works at Huntsville Hospital in Administration. I am so happy to be back in Huntsville with my BFF.
Ashley and I met in Santa Monica on Montana Avenue. She says I stalked her, but I cannot help it if I am drawn to Aubs, (my mother did raise me as an Auburn fan) we were destined to be friends. Ashley grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, then made her way down to Alabama where she attended college at Auburn University.
We both moved to Santa Monica within two weeks of each other and the rest is history. I cannot even begin to tell all our adventures in California but trust me we always have the best time together. Ashley attended graduate school at Pepperdine and is currently pursuing her dream job as a marriage and family therapist in L.A.
Tori is the sister I always wanted but never had. I am so excited to gain an amazing family marrying Greg. (In case you haven't made the connection Tori is Greg's younger sister).
Tori currently lives in Huntsville where she is the best 2nd grade teacher at Hampton Cove.
