Infinity Edge Pool
Get to know each other!
After arriving at the Fairmont, head over to the Infinity Edge Pool to mingle with guests, try authentic Mexican food, and relax before the festivities kick off on Friday. Feel free to come in your airport attire or in a casual dress / outfit to meet friends, family, and spend time with Aleeza & Shane :)
You can walk to the Infinity Edge Pool from the main hotel or can take a golf cart to La Laguna Restaurant and then walk to the pool.
Mehndi
The Mehndi is a cultural, pre-wedding celebration - the event is colorful and festive with lots of music and dancing. Be prepared to dance the night away on the beach! You will also have an opportunity to get a henna design on your hands by a mehndi artist.
Mehndi Attire
The Mehndi will take place on the beach. We recommend comfortable, beach-friendly shoes for dancing (or kicking aside for when you're on the dance floor!). Women and men are welcome to wear vibrant hues and happy tones! Men can wear beach semi-formal or kurtas and women can wear dresses/jumpsuits/cocktail attire or traditional South Asian clothing.
Ceremony
The Ceremony will take place on the beach and the wedding reception will take place on the Isla Lawn at the center of the resort, close to the main hotel.
Beach Formal Attire
We recommend beach and garden-friendly shoes for the Ceremony and Wedding Reception. The dress code is Beach Formal (some ideas here!) or formal South Asian attire.
Wedding Reception (Shaadi + Walima)
The Wedding Reception will take place on the Isla Lawn after the Ceremony.
Beach Formal Attire
From the Ceremony, we will be transitioning to the Isla Lawn. Like the beach, we recommend garden-friendly shoes for the Wedding Reception. The dress code is Beach Formal (some ideas here!) or formal South Asian attire.
