You can fly into either Newark, NJ or Philadelphia, PA and rent a car. Both airports are within a 1 hour and 30 minute drive away from Long Beach Island.

Faria's Surf & Sport Shop
Biking is one of our favorite things to do on LBI. While you’re here, stop by Faria's Surf and Sport shop for bike and surfboard rentals. Faria's is located in Beach Haven and Surf City.
Barnegat Lighthouse
State Park
If you’re looking for a fun day trip, take a drive or bike up to the northern part of the island to check out Barnegat Lighthouse State Park. While you're there, take a walk over to Historic Viking Village where you’ll find a number of quaint shops and tons of history!
Fantasy Island Amusement Park
Fantasy Island is the perfect spot for kids and families of any age. The park is filled with a number of rides and roller coasters, and even has an arcade and water park! If you’re not into rides, just outside the park you’ll find a ton of quaint shops and restaurants.
Ship Bottom Brewery
If you're any friend of ours, you know we enjoy eating and drinking. Mostly the drinking part. So naturally Ship Bottom Brewery became a local favorite after years of vacationing down in Beach Haven. We always get a table in their tasting room upstairs where you'll experience gorgeous sunset views of the bay, live music and entertainment. They even have giant Jenga games you can play. It's the perfect spot for larger groups so be sure to check it out while you're in town!
The Black Whale
The Black Whale is hands down our favorite bar and restaurant in Beach Haven! Whether you're looking for home made "Jersey Style" clam chowder, fresh sea food, or a fun night cap, the Black Whale is the place to be. Great music, amazing service and drinks, they're even open late night until 2AM!
Triton Craft Beer & Oyster Bar
Craft Beer, winery and fresh oyster house located in the heart of Beach Haven. Great casual spot for drinks, a light snack or full meal.
The Holiday Snack Bar
Opened since 1948 and has been a family favorite of Beach Haven ever since. If you're in the mood for a cheese burger right off the grill or freshly made ice cream and desserts, this place is worth the visit. The snack shop is perfect for kids and families of all ages.
Parker's Garage
& Oyster Saloon
Parker's is a quaint family run dinner spot with fresh oysters, seafood and gorgeous bay-side views. Ryan and I always have an amazing experience at Parker's. The service is fantastic, and it's BYO which is a bonus!
The Chicken or the Egg
The Chicken or the Egg or the "Chegg" as the locals call it, is one of LBI's most popular dining spots. The Chegg is the only restaurant open 24/7 on the island and has a ton of menu options for any meal of the day, including delicions breakfast items and tasty late night snacks! The Chegg is known for its award-winning wings; they offer 15 different sauces and yes, they're definitely all they're cracked up to be! Important to note that there can sometimes be a line down the block during peak hours, but it's well worth the wait!
